The Wolfkop Camping Villages are located on the banks of the Olifants River in the Cederberg, a World Heritage Site. It is a big, flat river with water that is safe to drink. Montagu Guano Cave Resort:
Thousands of spear-head artefacts were discovered when the Montagu Guano Cave and Tunnel were cleared of bat poop (guano) and excavated. An archaeologist determined that the cave, which is located at the foot of the Langeberg mountain range in the Klein Karoo, was once home to an ancient tool factory. Plantbos Camping site:
Platbos is a native forest of thousand-year-old trees growing in alkaline, sandy soil. The word Platbos means “flat bush” and refers to the area’s flat terrain. The 22 Waterfalls Holiday Farm is located at the foot of the Olifantsrivier Mountains, about 4 kilometres from Porterville. It has campsites with and without electricity, as well as 4×4 access.
